Who: Any FRC team.

What: A practice FIRST Robotics Competition based on the 2026 FRC game Rebuilt.

When: Saturday, February 21st, 2026 (and optionally Sunday, February 22nd)

Where: Eagan High School, 4185 Braddock Trail, Eagan, MN 55123

Why: To provide practice on a representative field and to teach new team members about the atmosphere of a robotics competition.  We will have Robot Inspectors and a full machine shop with professional machinist available for any last minute fabrication needs.

Bonus: Registered teams can also leave their robot in their pit overnight and use the field for informal practice on Sunday, 1:00 - 5:00pm. Unlimited practice matches on Sunday will be on a first-come-first-served basis and will continue to be run by the Field Management System (FMS).

Team Registration: Fill out the registration form with your team’s information. Registration is $200 if payment is received by February 13th ($225 otherwise). Registration deadline is Wednesday, February 18th — no registrations will be accepted after that day. More details can be found on the registration form.

Meals: Meal tickets are $8/meal if pre-ordered AND paid in advance (by Friday, February 13th); additional meal tickets are available the same day for $10/meal. We appreciate your support of Eagan Robotics Team 2220 to help us defray the costs of hosting this event by not bringing in outside food.

Safety: All participants are expected to bring their own personal safety glasses; there will be limited on-site availability.

Team Assistance: We will have a professional machinist on duty in case modifications to your robot are required. We also have a variety of resources for wiring (including 6 AWG), pneumatics and bumpers to help you finish or modify your robot. Robot Inspectors and a Lead Robot Inspector are available to inspect your robot or answer rules questions.

FIRST Impact Award Collaboration: We will be offering a session for teams to collaborate on the FIRST Impact Award. Teams are invited to share ideas about their presentations and get feedback from the other participants. Your team will get feedback on what was good and what can be improved, as well as answer any questions you have. If your team is interested in participating, plan to attend this session from 9:30 - 10:30 am.

Quiet Room: We will have a ‘Quiet Room’ available (near the entrance) on Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Recycling Drive: As part of our Week Zero Recycling Drive we will be offering computerized testing of your batteries to help you determine viability, battery cable connection inspection, and collection of old or failing robot batteries to be recycled.

Raffle: We will be having a raffle with a variety of prizes and are asking teams to consider donating a team T-shirt or other promotional items with your team logo/number for the raffle. They can be dropped off at the registration table on the day of the event.

Note: Your participation in this event is granting permission to have your likeness, photo, and video used in event and team publicity.
