What is FRC?

FRC stands for FIRST® Robotics Competition, and it’s a FIRST® Robotics program for students in grades 7-12. FRC teams design, build, and program a robot to compete in the season’s unique challenge. They document their engineering process, robot design, and team accomplishments through both written materials and group presentations. Learn more about FRC on the FIRST® Inspires website.

Eagan Robotics FRC Program

The Eagan Robotics program is home to FRC Team 2220 Blue Twilight. Students must have previous experience in either FTC or FRC in order to join Team 2220. In addition to working on the robot and documentation, students will do STEM outreach in the community. Experienced team members teach and support newer members, and adult mentors and coaches support and guide the team throughout the season.

The goal of the Eagan Robotics FRC program is to teach students technical and professional skills that will prepare them for future success. We strive to teach students critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and time management skills, as well as creativity, taking initiative, and leadership capabilities. Whatever path they choose, they will have the skills and abilities they need to achieve success.
