About the Program
What is FRC?
FRC stands for FIRST® Robotics Competition, and it’s a FIRST® Robotics program for students in grades 7-12. Learn more about FRC on the FIRST® Inspires website.
FRC at EHS
Eagan High School is home to one FRC team, Team 2220. Teams are responsible for designing, building, and programming their robots, in addition to completing community outreach hours.
The goal of the FRC program at EHS is to teach students professional and technical skills that will prepare them for future success. Students must have had previous experience in the FTC program.

2026-27 Season Timeline
(Tentative) September 2nd 6:30-9:00 PM - Interest meeting and registration
(Tentative) September 9th 6:30-9:00 PM - Orientation and training
(Tentative) January 9th - Kickoff!
Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30-9:00 PM through last tournament date - Build season
January-April - Qualification Tournaments (will attend two regionals)
April/May - World Championship (if team is qualified)
May - Minnesota State High School Tournament (if team is qualified)
